More than one hundred images of the inside of kepi hats from legionnaires at the Aubagne Foreign Legion, France (artist's book).
At the bottom of this cavity, between head and cap, personal choices lining surrounding a pleated fabric as the curtains of the private theater scenes, the picture of friends or friends, through a landscape, a travel card, design, a playing card, an object, a key, a text… These various fragments mixed realities and symbols are the keys to secret gardens, the subversive expressions that persist despite the individual effects of social morality.
Bernadette Genée and Alain Le Borgne (born 1949 and 1947, live and work in Concarneau, France) create collaborative projects trying to establish links between the art world and other distant universes (farmers, industrialists, servicemen…).
