Serge Rezvani (born 1928 in Tehran) is a painter, writer, songwriter, and versatile artist. As a songwriter he wrote songs for actress Jeanne Moreau (
Le Tourbillon de la vie and
J'ai la mémoire qui flanche). During the 1950s, he gained notoriety as an
abstract painter. After having abandoned abstract painting for writing Serge Rezvani returns to
figurative painting at the beginning of the 1990s.
