Collectionner, conserver, exposer le graphisme – Entretiens autour du travail de Dieter Roth conservé au Frac Bretagne

This project was conducted by a group of students in graphic design from EESAB Rennes, on the occasion of a workshop on the Frac's collection. The books and posters of Dieter Roth, graphic designer and major artist (1930-1998) to which Frac devoted an exhibition (“Dieter Roth – Processing the World”) appeared as a perfect subject to analyze the status of design-related objects, and storage conditions as well as exposure. Interviews were carried out, exposing views and comments of a dozen professionals, all involved in various ways with Dieter Roth or conservation. The students edited these interviews as an imaginary discussion that would show the interlocutors' meeting points and divergences.
