An off-track, frenetic and exciting improvisation session bringing together musicians who have known each other for many years and are playing together for the first time.
"Alexei and I met in the 90's when he was touring in Europe and when I was co-running the Rectangle record label. We became friends but never played together at that time. Every time he came to Paris, we only met for a few hours. When I heard he had a day off from his tour with ASTMA (the duo with Olga Nosova), I thought it would the opportunity to eventually meet musically. On that day Jérôme Lorichon and I were supposed to be working on our duo set, so we transformed that in a double-duo recording. What you hear on this album is the music that surged naturally from playing together for the first time."
