Roberto Barbanti is a professor in the Visual Arts Department at the University of Paris 8. Co-founder and co-director of Sonorités (2006-2017), a French-language journal of sound ecology, his research themes concern the question of complexity and ecosophy in contemporary and current art as well as sound ecology and the sound dimension of landscape.
