Monograph dedicated to the abstract artist's graphical paintings and objects, accompanied with a long essay by Jeff Ryan.
Jeff Ryan is art critic and teacher at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Nîmes.
Stéphane Dafflon (born 1972 in Neyruz, lives and works in Geneva) begins in the shallow dimensions of a computer screen. His graphical paintings, wall paintings and objects emerge from the pattern thinking of a mental universe whose objects are manipulated using mouse gestures and keyboard taps, and where gravity, perspective and the vanishing point can be defied or oriented differently.
