A research on the verbal transcription of sound and an inventory of the first sound productions of Alice, the daughter of Camille Llobet (artist's book).
Camille Llobet recorded her daughter between the ages of ten and twenty months, at which time the child discovers her voice and experiences her ability to play with it, to form sounds. She does not yet understand the words she hears, but his babbling imitates and experiences the prosodic contours of the spoken language, in other words its inflections, tonality, accent, modulation and rhythm. The meaning is here in the sound. These are the beginnings of speech, the formation of its possibility.
Born 1982 in Bonneville, France, Camille Llobet lives and works in Annecy, France, and Geneva.
