This monograph documents over a decade of works and exhibitions, and offers an intimate portrait of an artist who put the language at the center of his visual practice. With texts by Louis Ucciani and Romain Cardus, and an interview with Jérôme Conscience by Guy Bloch-Champfort.
Jérôme Conscience (born 1976 in Besançon, where he lives and works) joined the Ecole des beaux-arts de Besançon in 1995, where he followed the teachings of Didier Marcel, Michel Giroud, and Gérard Collin-Thiébaut. The French artist developed a visual work revolving around the language and words.
