Dedicated to the long-lasting ties between
Mexico and France, this survey catalogue's common thread is the foundation of a
Fourierist-inspired community in Jicaltepec in the 19th century. The historical event interacts throughout the volume with the works of artists questioning the notions of
travel, exile, relationships and
utopia.
