The film presents artistic works in public places created by Betty Bui, Daniel Buren, Jace, Tadashi Kawamata and Louis Pavageau, all made for the “Leu Tempo Festival 2009” organised by the Séchoir, accredited stage for theatre and music in
Reunion Island. During the week preceding the festival, we followed the artists in the creation of their works as well as the workshops ran by Tadashi Kawamata and Betty Bui with the students of Reunion's Fine Arts and Architecture Schools.
The leaflet also includes a round-up of the symposium entitled “Art in the public place: street art and plastic art: the same objectives?” organised during the Tempo Festival by the Fine Arts School of Reunion Island. Pascal Le Brun-Cordier ran the conference with the help of Paul Ardenne, Betty Bui, Daniel Buren, Gilles Coudert, Pedro Garcia, Jace, Tadashi Kawamata , Maud Le Floc'h and Louis Pavageau.
