Marion Laval-Jeantet - Microbiota
Marion Laval-Jeantet's research into therapeutic care continues her work with Benoît Mangin under the name of Object-Oriented Art on microbiota, the "microscopic strangers" that we host, that make us live, or parasitize us, at the crossroads of scientific art, biology, anthropology, psychology and ethology.
Marion Laval-Jeantet is an artist, working under the pseudonym Art Orienté Objet with Benoît Mangin, and a university professor at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, where she teaches art and anthropology. She divides her time between teaching, a professional art practice, and a therapeutic and research practice in art, biology and ethnopsychiatry.
