2024
More than two years after the release of "Impressões de Outra Ilha", Discrepant's head honcho returns home under his birth name with the appropriately titled "Exotic Immensity". Conjured from the seeds of an exhibition of dioramas at Le Bon Accueil in Rennes, this double LP feels quietly epic in scope, a sprawling travelogue through imagined scenarios and what if possibilities.

Lisbon-based travellers Jibóia return to the Discrepant label with a new offering of globetrotting psychedelia.

Hanno Leichtmann - Outerlands (vinyl LP)
2024
Centered around the Villa Aurora Organ, an intriguing and mostly unknown instrument built in 1928/29 by the Artcraft Organ Company in Santa Monica, California, "Outerlands" presents a deeply personal approach to the instrument's particular properties, very much in line with Discrepant's ethos.
Mike Cooper - Aquapelagos - Vol.2: Índico (vinyl LP)
2024
Presenting the second thematic volume on the "Aquapelagos" series, a collection of split LPs where selected artists offer their own take into water surrounded cultures and communities, Discrepant introduces an unique collaboration in the series in the shape of no other than two improvising giants, Mike Cooper and Pierre Bastien. This volume blows the lid wide open with a sound journey inspired by the equally majestic and mysterious Indian Ocean, a wide space of open ocean bounded by Africa, to the west, Asia to the north and north-west and Australia, to the south west.
Alexandre Centeio - Panorama (vinyl LP)
2024
Part of a (very) loose but somewhat like minded kaleidoscope where one can trace something like a Portuguese hauntology, centred around labels like Russian Library or Prisma Sonora Records, Alexandre Centeio joins Discrepant with the surefire release of "Panorama".
 Malayeen - Malayeen (vinyl LP)
2023
Repress of the Lebanese trio's 2014 album, born from Raed Yassin and Charbel Haber's love for the music of quintessential Egyptian guitarist Omar Khorshid, disassembling and re-configuring the work and style of the iconic guitarist's innovative take on Arabic music.
Shela - TV Songs (vinyl LP)
2023
Lisbon based keyboardist João "Shela" Pereira's new strangely haunting album.
Starving Weirdos - Atheistaregods (vinyl LP)
2023
More than a decade after the release of "Land Lines", the mythical Humboldt County, California based duo of Brian Pyle and Merrick McKinlay reappears seemingly out of nowhere with "Atheistsaregods".

2023
An audio time-travelogue, based on found reel-to-reel tapes of pre-recorded slideshow commentaries from the 60s and 70s, collected by Mark Vernon over the past twenty years.
Kink Gong - Tanzania 2 (vinyl LP)
2023
8 years almost to the day after releasing his unique re-interpretation album of his field recordings made in the late 90's in Tanzania, Kink Gong is back with another volume of bushmen madness.
Lagoss - Imaginary Island Music Vol.2 - Ascension (vinyl LP)
2023
Sophomore album from Tenerife based trio Lagoss (Gonçalo F. Cardoso, Mladen Kurajica and Daniel García), moving away from their megamix vignette based first volume to experiment with a more song based approach whilst still keeping their trademark jam infused tropicalia and electronic freak outs with an offering to their 1970's sci-fi masters.

Ondness - Oeste A.D. (vinyl LP)
2022
Marking an important step in the discography of the Portuguese musician, Oeste A.D. is crossed by a nostalgic impulse, between a nod to the theme of the Expo 98 in Lisbon and a tribute to the best productions of Fennesz and Black Dice in the early 2000s.
