Anna-Sophie Berger (born 1989 in Vienna, where she lives and works) studied
fashion design and transmedial art at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Her work was shown for example at the mumok (Vienna), the White Flag Projects Library (St. Louis, USA), Ludlow 38 (New York, USA) and the House of Arts Bregenz. She is the winner of the Kapsch Contemporary Art Prize 2016. In her current work Berger deals with strategies of
communications and questions the meaning of objects, their ascription (in value) and contextualization.
