Je me jette (book + DVD)

Pascal Doury, Charles Pennequin - Je me jette (book + DVD)
Artist's book born from the encounter between Charles Pennequin's texts and the intimate immediacy of Pascal Doury's sketchbooks. The DVD features the film Je me jette as well as four other videos including Michel le pêcheur, Charles le poète and Je mange mon cerveau.
Artist, illustrator and poetry publisher Pascal Doury (1956-2001) was both a luminous and obscure figure of French counter-culture. In the 1980s, he co-edited the graphic magazine Elles sont de sortie with Bruno Richard. Close to the French punk aesthetic, he notably collaborated with Olivia Clavel of the Bazooka collective, but also with Marc Caro (Delicatessen) and writer Christophe Tarkos. His work has been published by Les Humanoïdes associés.
Charles Pennequin (born 1965 in Cambrai, France) is a writer and performer, an essential figure in French contemporary poetry.
