A series of texts that serve as literary variations on Jean-Luc Godard's Numéro deux / a film on DVD which can be described as upending the ideas propounded in Godard's film, featuring artists' works as part of a mise en
abyme and dialogue.
A 1975 film by Jean-Luc Godard, Numéro deux.
An exhibition Número tres, de la casa a la fábrica at Barcelona's La Virreina Image Centre in 2012 that uses the works in the collection owned by France's Centre national des arts plastiques to update the forms, ideas and figures invented by Jean-Luc Godard for Numéro deux. The exhibition's point of departure is the overlapping of home and factory that provides the basis for the film's original image, its key scene.
A film by Jordi Vidal that could be seen to upend the ideas Godard propounded in 1975 as well as overturning narrative forms and even the dominant social model, using as its basis an interpretation of the exhibited works.
