The sixth volume in the collection published by the Antoine de the Galbert Foundation, dedicated to the artist Diego Vecchio.
The monographs in this collection titled Un certain désordre are published by the Antoine de Galbert Foundation. Each book features numerous reproductions of artworks alongside a text written by the artist him or herself. There were no rules for the choice of artists.
The sixth volume of this collection is dedicated to Nobuko Tsuchiya.
Nobuko Tsuchiya was born in 1972 in Yokohama (Japan). In this strange universe of recycling and DIY, the humblest material—wire, cotton, plastic, resin and placenta-like silicone—finds meaning. Infused with both the traumatic history of Japan and a great sense of poetry, these environments have the power to snatch us away from the world and propel us thousands of years into the future or the past.
