René Schérer (1922-1923), professor emeritus at the University of Paris VIII - Vincennes, was one of the major actors of philosophy in France and of the struggles linking thought and freedom. Author of essential works on communication, phenomenology, the problems of childhood and hospitality, he is one of the great introducers of the philosophy of Charles Fourier.
