Maîtres et esclavesArchives du Laboratoire d'analyse des Mythologiques de la modernité

Matthieu Renault - Maîtres et esclaves
An experimental fictional ("post-apocalyptic") anthropology of philosophy, focusing on the dialectic of master and slave, itself understood as myth.
Matthieu Renault is Professor of Critical History of Philosophy at the Université Toulouse – Jean Jaurès. His research focuses on the relationship between philosophy and non-European worlds, the (post)imperial history of knowledge and its reappropriation by minorities (class-gender-race), with a particular emphasis on Caribbean thought.
