Cultures of the Curatorial
Initiated by the Cultures of the Curatorial graduate program at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig, this series assesses the
curatorial turn in contemporary cultural practice and discourse. The contributing authors, from a variety of disciplines and professional backgrounds, consider recent developments within the curatorial field, allow for self-reflexive analysis, and explore the conditions—disciplinary, institutional, economic, political, and regional—under which art and culture become public.
