DAAU (Die Anarchistische Abendunterhaltung!)
DAAU (acronym for "Die Anarchistische Abendunterhaltung!", in reference to Hermann Hesse's novel Der Steppenwolf) is a Belgian band founded in Antwerp in 1992 by Roel Van Camp, Han Stubbe, Buni and Simon Lenski, joined in 2006 by Hannes D'Hoine and Geert Budts.
Renowned on the European festival and jazz circuits for their virtuoso live performances, playing exclusively acoustic instruments (violin, cello, clarinet, accordion), their music fuses pop, eastern-european folk and classical music, with jazz and punk attitude.
