Jérôme Conscience (born 1976 in Besançon, where he lives and works) joined the Ecole des beaux-arts de Besançon in 1995, where he followed the teachings of Didier Marcel, Michel Giroud, and Gérard Collin-Thiébaut. The French artist developed a visual work revolving around the language and words.
This monograph documents over a decade of works and exhibitions, and offers an intimate portrait of an artist who put the language at the center of his visual practice.
