Ten texts on the architecture of displacement set to music and sung by Albanian iso-polyphonic singers—commissioned for the Albanian Pavilion at the 15th Venice Biennale of Architecture (songs based on texts by Etel Adnan, Mourid Barghouti, Michel Butor, Claire Fontaine, Yona Friedman, Anri Sala, Michael Taussig, Yanis Varoufakis, Ornela Vorpsi, and Finn Williams).

This compilation features traditional songs that originate from the city of Sanaa, the sheikdom of Lahej, and the port of Aden. The term samar, which is the title of the compilation' second part, describes the delicious, luxury time when people gather for relaxation, refreshment and music. Music performed by the Kawkabani brothers and oudh player Hassan al Zabeede.

35 years after the release of their critically acclaimed albumVibrant Stapler Obscures Characteristic Growth the British dadaist group Hastings of Malawi have released a new album—an epic sound poem entitled Visceral Underskinnings. It is a 40 minute film without light that reflects on the human condition, on modern society, on the nature of telephony and electricity and an attempt to make sense of the world in which we live that provides no answers.

Produced in conjunction with the publication, the record All Things Pass highlights the musical dimension of the artist's eponymous video installation. The Japanese sound artist's second album is the result of a ten-year investigation on the sound properties of water, in line with her previous LP in 2009. Based on the use of waterbowls—porcelain bowls filled with water and amplified via hydrophones—her musical practice is now enriched with experiments with the environment and hydrophonic feedback.

Born from the collaboration between the Australian musician Hugo Race and the Belgian violinist Catherine Graindorge, the music of LDO is an intensely atmospheric dreamweave of violins, electronics and Hugo's darkly evocative voice. The duo explores metaphysical lyrics, experimental sounds and retro-baroque orchestrations in a romantic, song-based context.

French duo Paradis Noir (Jefferson Lembeye & Olivier Le Borgne) is influenced by both the writings of Malcolm Lowry and the music of PIL, Joy Division and the Velvet Underground, as well as electro-industrial music. Thomas de Pourquery, Black Sifichi and Élise Caron collaborated on this unique album produced by Norscq. The picture disc reproduces two paintings by Tom de Pékin.
