Edward W. Said (1935-2003) was a Palestinian American professor of literature at Columbia University, a public intellectual, and a founder of the academic field of postcolonial studies.
Seloua Luste Boulbina is a French-Algerian philosopher and political scientist, former program director at the Collège International de philosophie, and researcher at the Université Paris Diderot. A theorist of decolonialization, she works on colonial and postcolonial issues in their political, intellectual, epistemological, cultural and artistic dimensions.
