José Vicente Anaya closes his poetic trilogy (started with
Híkuri and continued with
Pèlerin) with a rereading of Mexican political history through the memories of his own wanderings.
José Vicente Anaya (Mexico, 1947-2020) is a poet, translator, essayist and journalist. A student at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, Anaya took part in the social and student movement of 1968. He is one of the founders of infra-realism, along with Roberto Bolaño and Mario Santiago Papasquiaro.
