Contingent Sounds

Contingent Sounds is an independent publishing platform founded in 2020 in Berlin by Alejandra Cárdenas (also known as Ale Hop) that aims to facilitate artists' research, perspectives and practices on sound and music, focusing on experimental formats and artists from the Global South who are working on the margins of hegemonic discourses or with strong social and ecological commitments.
