Thomas Krempke (born 1957 in Zermatt, lives in Zurich) studied
photography from 1979 to 1983 at what is now the Zurich University of the Arts and has made a number of films (notably
Züri brännt,
Da & Dort). He also used to work as a cameraman and as a film festival curator. Nowadays he works chiefly in postproduction for features and documentary films. Excerpts from his photographic diaries have been shown at various exhibitions since 2012.
