Serge Pey

 
Serge Pey is one of the key figures of performance and poetry-action in France. A young activist, he fought against the Vietnam war, and took part in the May 68 movement. Serge Pey's work in contemporary poetry is defined as an articulation between writing and orality. He gave lectures with Beat Generation poet Allen Ginsberg. He is now a lecturer at Toulouse-Le Mirail university.
