The first English translation of Alexandra Kollontai's "My Heart Belongs to the Finnish Poor", originally published as "Suomen köyhälistölle kuuluu sydämeni" by the Finnish Trade Union Federation yearbook Työn Juhla: Suomen ammattijärjestön juhlajulkaisu in 1911. Designed by Ott Kagovere, the essay is printed in 200 copies as a risographed poster.
Alexandra Kollontai (1872-1952) was a Russian revolutionary, politician, diplomat and Marxist and feminist theoretician. A highly prominent woman within the Bolshevik party, she was the first woman in history to be a cabinet minister, and the first woman ambassador.
