At the intersection of art history and theory, social sciences and artistic practices, this collective volume re-engages with an approach to objects informed by the issues of their agency and social biography. The various contributions reveal the complexity of the interactions of which objects are the agents, modifying descriptive logics and, very often, the artistic dynamics themselves.
