Ping Zhu
The work of illustrator Ping Zhu (born in Seattle, lives and works in Brooklyn, NYC) is frequently seen in the pages of the New York Times and the New Yorker. Her work has been recognized and exhibited by American Illustration, Communication Arts, Society of Illustrators, Somerset House and the Art Director's Club Young Guns 11. Her first book Swan Lake was published by Nobrow Press, and she's since illustrated both covers and interiors for Penguin, Helium, Pushkin Press and Hardie Grant. Aside from working at her studio in the Pencil Factory, she also teaches illustration at Pratt Institute.
