Dutch-born van der Stokker (1954, Hertogenbosch), active artist-gallery owner on the East Side of New York in the 80's, now lives between Amsterdam and New York. She developed
pictorial murals with happy candy-coated slogans that incited acid sarcasm from her contemporaries.
