A collection of three new aesthetic essays, between the visual arts and literature, by Belgian philosopher and semiotician Herman Parret: a reflection on the "delicacy" in the various fields of sensoriality (the visible, the sound, the taste and the tactile), from Aristotle to
Gerhard Richter through Leonardo da Vinci, Rameau, Nietzsche, Proust and
Marcel Duchamp—a most suggestive reading for the construction or the development of a sensitive semiotics.
