In Grammaire logique, the "Prince of thinkers" (1837-1919) re-examines grammer and its theories, insisting on the necessity of popular experience (as well as the experience of writers), a notion that disrupted the teaching of languages. Brisset believed in looking both in the present and in the word for the origin of truth and the truth of origin. This work is considered a monument for both linquists and writers.
