Coast to Coast

Aurélien Mole - Coast to Coast
Through a series of photographs of 1970s American cars created using expired Polaroids, Aurélien Mole pays a dual tribute to both photography and the history of the automobile.
"An expired Polaroid is characterized by the drying out of the developer stored to the left of the image. While developing, this solution spreads across the light-sensitive surface to reveal the photograph. If there isn't enough, the image remains incomplete. In 2005, I bought a batch of discounted films after Polaroid went bankrupt in 2001. The photos are sorted according to their development state."
