Maxime Imbert - Pulp
Shot in the privacy of their bedrooms, Londoners—couples, friends, siblings, and roommates—reveal their personalities and their bonds. Sensual, raw, and magnetic, this series is an ode to the English capital and its inhabitants.
Shot across London during a period of introspection, Pulp gathers portraits of individuals, siblings, friends, couples, and roommates in their own homes, wearing their own clothes. The result is a raw yet tender mosaic of unique personalities—an exploration of identity and intimacy at a time when both seemed fragile yet meaningful. There is a quiet pulse running through the series. Sensual and vibrant, the subjects radiate a magnetic energy, their gaze holding ours.
The project is the artist's love letter to a city where he lived for over a decade, capturing its atmosphere and the people who made it feel special.
