This first issue of the annual magazine on architecture, scenography and design brings together designers and artists whose approach is anchored in their perception and emotions. Featuring GGSV, Formafantasma, Atelier Senzu, Flora Fishbach, Romain Brau, Bunker Palace, Pinaffo & Pluvinage, Atelier blam, Xolo Cuintle, etc.
What if our ability to appreciate and love spaces and objects over the long term was the very foundation of our practice? Can we love an object again after years? Can a space appreciate our presence over time? In a world where production and speed are paramount and decisive, what about the future of our professions? How can we look at the subject differently and establish a lasting relationship with it? These are just some of the questions that this first issue of JTM aims to address.
This issue will bring together designers who are rooted in their feelings and emotions. This more applied and subjective view provides an unexpected insight into our contemporary issues. Emotional creation examines our environment, the objects we wear and display, the spaces in which we grow up and the tools with which we build. By being intellectually open and sensitive, we can bring about a lasting transformation in our relationship with the world and with what we produce. It's urgent that we think differently.
This issue comes with four different covers, randomly distributed.
JTM is an annual publication which promotes and makes understandable approaches and know-how in art, design, architecture and scenography. Each issue is devoted to a particular thematic sentence (quotation, references, words) which guides the selection of subjects, spaces, pieces or invited people. JTM presents an annual vision of architecture and design, paying great attention to those who create with their greatest emotions and who shape the creation of tomorrow.
