Lavishly illustrated monograph providing a first overview of Swiss artist's work.
The Swiss artist David Renggli (born 1974, lives and works in Zurich) uses everyday items to create his surrealistic worlds in which objects suddenly appear to be individually souled: plant leaves take the form of a mobile, plush fabric forms a rare mythical creature, etc.
His sculptures evoke a world of fairy tales and ghosts in a post-industrial society which once again yearns for fetishes.
