Taking as their starting point Susan Sontag's book On Photography (1977), Marcelline Delbecq and Ellie Ga embarked on a long-term words-and-images dialogue addressing films, books and artworks that have marked their individual trajectories, together with historical events related (or not) to the year 1977.

This collaborative journey between Brazilian artist Ernesto Neto and members from the Huni Kuin indigenous communities brings to the fore the concept of “ancestral futures” and extends the concerns that have been evident in Neto's oeuvre over the past 20 years: a celebration of the sensuality of being, the unity of bodies and nature, and a longing for spiritual vision.

This leporello is the result of a collective photographic stream of consciousness based on a project lead by the Bureau d'investigation photographique: In random order, each member of the group opts for an image to which the following member answers by association and according to his own subjectivity.
