The rare and remarkable painting of the French-Dutch artist is figurative, both romantic and expressionist, full of melancholia, out of present time, with a delicate and disturbing strongness. The publication also documents Jannink's participation in the 1956 Budapest insurrection.

This recording is the sonic counterpart to Dutch artist Paul Panhuysen's last visual work Oog & Oor—a colorful design whose structure was built from sudoku puzzles. Panhuysen used the same principle to compose these sudoku-based pieces in collaboration with carillonneur Rosemarie Seuntiëns.

Artist Sara van der Heide converted the German Library in Guangzhou, China, into a restaging of the Goethe-Institut's German Library and Information Centre of Pyongyang, which operated from 2004 to 2009. The publication features the original multilingual booklets, a documentation on the exhibition and a critical reader.
