Éric Seydoux

Éric Seydoux (1946-2013), silkscreen printer and publisher, made a lasting impact upon fine art printing through his technical rigor and his commitment to artists. Trained in the United States and then in Paris, he cofounded L'Atelier in 1974, a creative workshop where several generations of artists, including cartoonists and contemporary avant-garde artists, crossed paths. His expertise led him to work with Pierre Buraglio, Shirley Jaffe, Claude Viallat and many others. Named Master Artisan in 2008, he continuously explored everything that screenprinting had to offer, combining innovation with tradition.
