Bernard Stiegler, Mehdi Belhaj Kacem - Philosophies singulières
Mehdi Belhaj Kacem and Bernard Stiegler talk about what links them to philosophy.
Bernard Stiegler (1952–2020) was a philosopher and media theorist. Earlier on in his life he had been prosecuted for his involvement in an armed robbery and it was during his prison sentence (1978-1983) that he became fascinated with philosophy, according to his autobiographical account Passer à l'acte (2003).
Mehdi Belhaj Kacem (born 1973 in Paris) is a French-Tunisian philosopher and writer. He is the author of a dozen books, including, in English, Transgression and the Inexistent: A Philosophical Vocabulary (Bloomsbury, 2014).
