Anita Chari est théoricienne politique, praticienne somatique et écrivaine. Elle vit à Portland, dans l'Oregon, et est professeure associée de sciences politiques à l'université d'Oregon. Interdisciplinaires, ses recherches explorent la signification politique des pratiques d'incarnation à notre époque. Elle est l'auteure de A Political Economy of the Senses : Neoliberalism, Reification, Critique (2015), et ses recherches sur les pratiques incarnées et la théorie politique ont été publiées dans des revues telles que New Political Science, Philosophy and Social Criticism, Contemporary Political Theory, et Somatic Voices in Performance Research and Beyond (2020). Elle est cofondatrice de l'organisation Embodying Your Curriculum.
